Holeys Goes Coastal

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA, April 28, 2009 - Already well known as an innovator in the international footwear market, Vancouver’s Holeys has released a new product that is so amazingly versatile it can be worn comfortably any season of the year.

The Coastal Boot, released March 15th, 2009, is a revolution in lightweight, waterproof footwear. Its ankle height, single mold construction make the Coastal the ideal companion for day hikes, dog walking or mucking around in the garden. It’s also great for puddle-jumping, if you happen to be young at heart. Unlike other boots that build up dirt, sweat and bacteria over time, the Coastal is made with Smartcel, a special type of closed-cell memory foam that leaves bacteria no room to grow and allows the boots to be reborn in ‘good as new’ condition after every wash.

The Coastal can be worn in weather ranging from sunshine to snow, and customers have reported excellent insulation at colder temperatures. “I often have cold feet when outdoors”, said Anna Perry, a Vancouver resident, “and so-called winter boots don’t keep my feet warm. But the Holeys ankle boots kept my feet warm even during those two hour treks in winter temperatures as low as -8F.” This versatility makes the Coastal a practical choice for outdoor enthusiasts living in regions with a variable climate.

The Coastal is just one of several exciting new releases from Holeys for Spring 2009. Holeys is constantly expanding their line of fresh, innovative lifestyle goods, and we’re sure to see some exciting offerings in the coming months as they continue to provide top of the line products for their customers and fans - whether those customers happen to be toddlers or trailblazers.
